How Early Is Too Early To Practice Self-Care?

Hey Subbies!

We are having a fabulous fall this year in the DMV area. The girls and I have been doing a lot of outdoor activities and loving this 70 degree fall weather.  We attended the Mo Wilhems event at the Kennedy Center. The girls had a fabulous time getting dirty while contributing to the "We Are All Connected" mural

This month's box we concentrated on self-care and self-love. In my opinion it's never too early to teach your children the importance of self-love and care.  We we have a love and appreciation for self, we can have better care and love for others. There is a unique balance in this principle and it is our jobs as parents to teach this to our children.

When selecting products for this box, I immediately called on Natural.Starr to provide her luxurious whipped shea butter. What I love the most about Starr's whipped shea butter is the light and clean scent. It's a great size for your kid to store in their book bag and use throughout their school day.

My favorite item in the girl's box is the shower cap. Truth be told, I don't own one myself and I often find myself in a battle with Psalm and Sanaa because I'm always using theirs. And my favorite item in the boy's box are those comfy Tetris socks. I may or may not have taken a pair for myself.  Yup... I'm not afraid to admit that. lol

What's your favorite item in the October box? We want to hear from you! Check out this great review we received below from one of our #subbies
